Finding new music on radio, TV; all the traditional places is pointless.

I rely on friends and the web for new sources of music.

Then I make sure that it's the type of song or band that has me playing their music over and over again, obsessively.  And it has to give me the chills when I hear it.

Sure, I check out lyrics, song structure, hooks, craftsmanship, and playing ability (live).

 

If the music is awesome and timeless, then I recommend the artist and write a review about them.
